Henrique could return to Brazil

Catalan sports paper El 9 Esportiu claims that Zaragoza has sounded out Barcelona about a loan of Barcelona central defender Henrique Adriano Buss (22) (read more here).

Zaragoza manager Marcelino would nevertheless not be impressed by the Brazilian player because of his lack of experience, which leads to Henrique only being the last option of a long target list.

Barcelona would therefore be looking at alternative options. Bayer Leverkusen, the club Henrique played for last season, had asked at the end of last season about a renewal of the loan, but after Barcelona initially rejected the request, the German club has now already strengthened their centre-back and is not interested anymore.

Aragon regional newspaper El Periódico de Aragón confirms that Henrique most probably will not join Zaragoza because Marcelino isn't convinced by the qualities of the central defender. The paper claims that Henrique could return to Brazil this summer.

Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Barcelona central defender Henrique Adriano Buss (22) could again leave on loan this season (read more here).

Barcelona still believes in the Brazilian defender but with Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola having asked for another centre-back, Henrique could get very little playing time.

After a loan to German club Bayer Leverkusen last season, Barcelona could therefore decide to loan Henrique out for another season, this time to a Spanish first division club. Zaragoza would be one of the clubs that have shown the most interest.

Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Barcelona has rejected a loan offer by newly promoted Spanish first division club Zaragoza for Barcelona polyvalent defender and midfielder Víctor Sánchez (21).

Zaragoza reportedly wanted to sign Víctor Sánchez as full-back, while Barcelona wants the player to get more experience as midfielder.

Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristian would yesterday have been in contact with the player's agent to discuss his future.

The only alternative option would at this moment be a loan to Deportivo La Coruña, although Deportivo president Augusto César Lendoiro wouldn't be willing to include the Catalan in a transfer deal on Deportivo left back Filipe.

Aragon regional sports paper Equipo claims that Barcelona central defender and Uruguay international Martín Cáceres (22) will sign this week a loan deal with newly promoted first division club Zaragoza.

Barcelona and Zaragoza would almost have reached a total agreement, with only some economic details left. Zaragoza and Cáceres are also said to be very close to a deal.

Madrid sports tabloid
As claims that the two clubs already reached a verbal agreement when sports directors Txiki Begiristain and Antonio Prieto met on 13 June. The deal is now expected to be finalized this week and could be officially announced on Friday.

Barcelona and Zaragoza would have agreed that Cáceres would join on a free loan, with Zaragoza only having to pay the salary of the Uruguayan and without an option to buy the player at the end of the season. Between Cáceres and his possible new club there are still some issues left, especially regarding the incentives the centre-back will lose by leaving Barcelona, but Prieto and the player's agent Daniel Fonseca would want to reach an agreement as soon as possible.

With Barcelona supposedly wanting to include Barcelona central defender and Uruguay international Martín Cáceres (22) in the transfer deal on Valencia forward David Villa (read more here), it's uncertain if the player still could move to Zaragoza.

Aragon regional newspaper
Heraldo de Aragón claims that Zaragoza officials told that a deal has become more complicated, although the club didn't yet give up on the Uruguayan defender and is closely following the events. Cáceres would prefer a loan to Valencia over a loan to newly promoted first division club Zaragoza.

Aragon regional sports paper
Equipo meanwhile claims that Valencia is not intererested in Cáceres and that Zaragoza is in pole-position to sign the player on loan. Zaragoza officials would already have talked with members of Barcelona's coaching staff, who think that a loan to Zaragoza would be good for the player to make progress and to gain experience.

Aragon regional newspaper El Periódico de Aragón claims that Barcelona central defender and Uruguay international Martín Cáceres (22) is on his way to Zaragoza, for whom the player is a priority signing.

Barcelona wouldn't yet have given the final permission because the club is still trying to include the Uruguayan defender in the deal on Valencia striker Villa.

But Valencia would have rejected this option, which means it's at this moment most likely that Cáceres will join Zaragoza on a one-year loan, without the option of buying the player next summer.

Aragon regional sports paper Equipo claims that Barcelona would be willing to let the central defender leave on loan to Zaragoza but that the Cáceres isn't very keen on moving and prefers to stay at Barcelona.

Madrid sports tabloid As claims that Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola has yesterday given the green light for the loan of central defender and Uruguay international Martín Cáceres (22) to Zaragoza.

Zaragoza reportedly wants to officially announce the transfer next week. After the deal with Barcelona, the newly promoted club will have to hold a last meeting with the player's agent Daniel Fonseca, who will travel from Italy to Spain in the coming hours.

The contract is expected to be signed on Tuesday or Wednesday. A buy option won't be included in the loan deal, also beause Zaragoza doesn't have the financial means to sign the defender.

Aragon regional newspaper El Periódico de Aragón claims that Barcelona is still not excluding to including Cáceres in the transfer of Valancia forward Villa (read more here

Asked about the rumours linking Barcelona central defender Barcelona central defender and Uruguay international Martín Cáceres (22) with a loan move to Zaragoza (read more here), the player's agent Daniel Fonseca said in an interview with Aragon regional newspaper El Periódico de Aragón that this could be an option:

"I know about the interest, but there's not only Zaragoza, also other teams are interested. I want to wait until he comes back from holidays on 10 July. I can then talk calmly with him and with Barcelona. We're not in a hurry.

Martín needs to play and he will play. If Guardiola cannot find him a place in the team, we'll look at other options. Zaragoza would sure be a nice place for him. Because of the history and the possibilities, it's a great club and I'm happy they have returned to the Liga."

The paper claims that Cáceres, who would prefer to stay in Spain, has also been sounded out by Galatasaray, Celtic Glasgow and Sporting Gijón.

Asked about the rumours linking Barcelona central defender and Uruguay international Martín Cáceres (22) with a loan move to Zaragoza, Zaragoza sports director Antonio Prieto has confirmed the interest at a press conference:

"It's a player we have been working on, we've followed him. Now we're trying to get him to Zaragoza. Let's see if we can close a deal next week. We're interested and I would like to have the player with us. It's the profile of players we're looking for and who could come on loan with a buy option."

Catalan sports paper Sport claims that the negotiations between the clubs are well-advanced and that a deal could be announced soon. Barcelona's technical department would have given the green light for the operation. Argon regional radio station Aragón Radio claims that Zaragoza wants to sign Cáceres on a permanent deal.

Aragon regional newspaper Equipo claims that newly promoted Spanish first division club Zaragoza is interested in Barcelona left back defender Sylvinho (35).

The Brazilian defender, whose contract with Barcelona expires this summer and won't be renewed (read more here), would also have offers from France and Germany, but he and his family would prefer to stay in Spain. The player's agent Hans Lamberz confirmed to the paper that Zaragoza could be an option: "The player would be happy to continue in Spain and Zaragoza is an attractive club."

Asked about his future, Sylvinho told journalists in Brazil that returning to his home-country is also an option for him: "I'm on holidays in São Paulo after a very hard season, with a lot of games, a lot of effort, so I want to rest now. Returning to Corinthians would be something very nice because I grew up there and I still have friends at the club. If we would find a deal, I would be very happy. Joining Corinthians is always an option so if they open the door, I won't think twice."

Catalan sports paper Sport claims that several clubs are interested in signing Barcelona Atlètic wing attacker Jeffren Suárez (21) on loan or permanently this summer.

Celtic Glasgow, Zaragoza, Málaga and several other Spanish first division clubs would have shown interest in Jeffren. Celtic is said to have asked for him during a recent meeting with Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristain. As things stand now, Jeffren would start the pre-season with the first team and a decision on his future will then be made later this summer depending on the transfer activity.

Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Deportivo la Coruña is also interested in Jeffren and that Barcelona has offered to include the Venezuela born player in a deal on Deportivo left back defender Filipe (read more here).

Jeffren meanwhile said in an interview with Tenerife local radio station Radio El Día that returning to Spanish second division club Tenerife, that is close to promoting to the Liga, in a one-year loan deal is an option for him, but that it will depend on the plans of Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola.

Barcelona interested in Zaragoza midfielder Ander

Aragon regional sport paper Equipo claims that Barcelona is interested in Zaragoza midfielder and Spanish youth international Ander Herrera (19).

Because of his promotion to and good performances with Zaragoza's first team this season, Ander has been intensely watched by Barcelona coaches over the last month, with Barcelona scout Juli assisting Saturday's game against Celta Vigo. The individual reports about the player are all positive and a global report for Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola is being drawn up at this moment.

The next step could then be contacting the player's agent Arturo Canales and sounding out Zaragoza to know more about the situation of the player, who would have a buyout clause of 4 million euro°. Athletic Bilbao, that made a 3,5 million euro bid for Ander during the January transfer window, would also still be interested.

The paper claims that the Basque midfielder has at this moment a fixed contract that is offered to all the club's promising players, including a year salary of 20 000 euro. Zaragoza is nevertheless planning to offer Ander a contract renewal and has already agreed with the player's agent that the talks will start at the end of the season.

A Zaragoza source is quoted by the sports paper as saying that a transfer is not being considered by the club right now: "We cannot avoid that people come and watch his games and see his quality but Ander won't leave. He's a key player and he's not for sale." Ander's father Pedro Herrera is the sporting director of Zaragoza.

Because Barcelona forward Samuel Eto'o in the end stayed with the club, a possible deal transfer of the Argentinian striker was cancelled.

Milito, the older brother of Barcelona central defender Gabriel, moved at the end of August to Italian club Genoa for a transfer fee of 10 million euro° (plus 3 million euro variables). Milito signed a three-year contract with his former club.

Since Barcelona was entitled to 20 per cent of the transfer fee if Zaragoza sold former Barcelona player Sergio García (25) (read more here), Barcelona will receive 1,6 million euro°, which could rise to 2 million euro°, as a consequence of the transfer of the player from Zaragoza to Betis Sevilla last week (read more here).

Beits and Zaragoza agreed a transfer price of 8 million euro° plus an additional 2 million euro°.

Aragón regional sports paper Equipo claims that the variables are depending on the striker playing at least 125 games for Betis in the next five seasons and the striker scoring at least 60 goals during that same period.

Zaragoza also keeps 25 per cent of the transfer rights of Sergio García although it's not clear what this means for Barcelona.

Barça B: Valencia, Sevilla and Villareal want Jeffren

Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that Valencia and Villareal are interested in signing Barcelona Atlètic winger and Spanish youth international Jeffren Suárez (20).

The Valencia technical staff would like the Venezualan-born player a lot and it is suggested that this could play a role in a possible transfer of Valencia left winger David Silva to Barcelona.

Aragón regional sports paper Equipo claims that Jeffren is high on the wish list of second division team Zaragoza, that hopes to get the player on loan.

Barcelona Atlètic coach Luis Enrique would want Jeffren to stay with his team but Barcelona thinks it's a better option to let the player leave on loan to a Spanish first or second division club.

Valencia regional sports paper Super Deporte meanwhile claims that Primera División teams Sevilla and Getafe, second division teams Levante, Tenerife and Hércules and some English clubs are also following Jeffren, who has scored twice during the pre-season he's doing with th first team this summer.

Jeffren's brother would have done a trial with Villareal which was seen as an attempt to attract the winger. Jeffren, his father and his agency would nevertheless prefer to stay linked with Barcelona and leave on a loan deal.

A source from the player's entourage is quoted as saying that Jeffren is not planning to stay with Barcelona's second team this season: "The goal is to play in the Primera División, but if that's not possible we would consider the Spanish second division if there's a good project. He'll certainly not return to play with Barcelona Atlètic in the third division.

Now we're waiting to talk with Barcelona. After that we'll look at all the options that are on the table and make a decision. At this moment the door is open for offers to come in from interested clubs."

Catalan sports paper Sport claims that it will be Barcelona Atlètic coach Luis Enrique who will decide what will happen with Jeffren. Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola won't promote the player to the first team and Zaragoza has made a formal loan offer.
