Now messi knows that Zlatan is coming and there will be competition for World Player 2009 ;) esp in barca jersey. Hes got to ramp up soon. But in the end Barca benefits and real madrid is already shi*** in their pants. Just see the comments from their players

Oh yeah! I love this guy. May God protect him from injuries also this season. Whether u put him on the wing, centre forward, or attacking playmaker position, he gives a positive drive to the team.
Messi has an special aura that surrounds him. The best player i have seen playing live football alongside Zinedine Zidane.

wow he is so eager to play football again that he disses one week of holidays to come sooner to preseason.

i think many of you will agree with me ,messi is the best player in the world ,but in my opinion he is the best player ever,he has surpassed ronaldinho(yeah r10 was more flashy at his prime,but messi does what is needed and he does it always).he is awesome to watch on the field.

i cant wait for the games to begin to watch this team again.those lads write history....

...You sure? As far as i know doing nothing in the Champions League for the 4th/5th season in a row doesn't qualify people for that.

LAst year not even Messi [UCL semifinalist] couldn't come close to Ronaldo [guy that lead team to victory]. I know World Player isn't Balon d'Or, but i don't feel Inter have been in the "good" part of town. They've had it way too easy and sorta screwed it up anyway.

Messi wants more.He doesnt want to rest (could be a bad thing) but i'm sure guardiola will take care of him. Great to see he wants to get out there with his team-mates. No special treatment wanted. Shows he knows the meaning of the word team.

thats commitment, i love the way messi plays but i love his attitude more. shy, humble, completely dedicated to the team and also the best footballer on the planet.

he might be able to teach ibra a thing or two about humility aswell;)
