I'm sure Xavi and Iniesta already have at least 6. It would be blasphemy if not so.
1 Billion buy-out fee. Geesh that just shows you what's in Perez's head - bright lights and SHOW. I'd rather my club avoid that :) 150 million is more than enough. - 20 July 2009 at 00:43

Messi rejected a offer for Man city. I think it was around 120-180M. - 20 July 2009 at 00:57

1 billion is crazy....we don't NEED that. Because if somebody for example offers us 200 mio. for Ibra or any other player...I will personally come to Barcelona and pack his bags because as a team you HAVE TO sell any player for 200 mio.
Ya it would SUCK to sell someone like Messi and thats the only guy I would have a tough time letting go but damn...with 200 mio. you can do a lot of good things. - 20 July 2009 at 01:03

if Ronaldo has a one billion bu-out clause then Messi should have triple.

We dont need to triple it because messi is not going to leave unlike ronaldo who may want a final big payday from man city when he is 28 or 30. I think this sounds about right. Messi makes 9.5 mill reportedly so ibra would make slightly less tahn that.

please tell me he is not going to earn more than xavi and iniesta? this really is becoming a madrid deal.

It's a Madrid deal, that's a fact. We apparently also will have to pay Hleb's entire salary (which would be gross 6 or 7 millions). And you won't be able to sell Zlatan before those 5 years, so incoming transfer fee: 0.
As long as he's worth it, it's ok, I guess. But this is a huge risk. - 20 July 2009 at 07:31
