Anyone knows more about the strikers Benfica has now? They bought Saviola. Nuno Gomes was on his way out but don't know how that ended.

last year we played with the same amount of offensive players and it worked fine...

Eto'o, Messi, Henry and youngsters...

at some point we have to trust Bojan,period.

and its not like Keirsson is going to be a veteran presence on this team. He is 20 and has a lot to learn.

anony..my point is that it would be good for bojan to have to compete with some1, and kerrison is perfect..coz its not like bojan will b competing with henry or zlatan u know?

I have the feeling that this season we are going to see the breakthrough of Bojan Krkic. Last season, he didn't have too many minutes to play, but I saw a well-developing Bojan. I'm very excited to the season to kick off.

He should be competing with Henry, I think. This season will be his chance. If he doesn't do better than last season (also meaning: if Guardiola doesn't give him more chances), the pressure will grow.

guys if he stays in barca this year his playing time will be less... and i hope benfica are in champions league or uefa cup... playing in those championships will give him some more experience which he wont get in barca.. i see him being used as the 3rd substitute in the dying minutes of the injury time....

so loaning him to a side like that is very good...

Do they miss some striker?

The best would ofc be if he could go to a club in Spain where he can adapt,learn the language(spanish or Catalan).. Bad choice of Barça if this is true.

Very bad decision if he is loaned, he is 3x better than Bojan who doesnt deserve to be a back up striker for Zlatan. Instead of being new Raul, Bojan is becoming new Javier Portillo and he cant blame Barca for that. Dont let Messi´s, Puyol´s, Xavi´s and Iniesta´s success fool you, every single Barca junior wont make it, only the best will survive. Again Barca´s squad is very thin and we cant rest key players without losing points. We risk losing La Liga title if Keirrison is loaned and if Zlatan gets injured.

Portugal is good destination for Brazilians because they speak Portuguese, even if it's somewhat different, it's a easier transition. There's also a big Brazilian community in Portugal.
