I think the ball would explode. Given that the airresistens is low (the ball have good aerodynamics) the ball would hit the ground at roughly at 200 km/h if my head calculations are right...

Marcus, I think 200 km/h is a bit too much, I would think a balls terminal velocity is lower than a humans because it has lower mass. Maybe 150-160 km/h
I think it would bounce... a strong strike can probably reach around 150 km/h.
HE IS LEO MESSI he won't drop it so don't bother urself giving possibilities XD
