Asked about his first game as Barcelona player, Brazilian left back defender Maxwell told the club's official media that he was satisfied after the Los Angeles Galaxy friendly:

"I'm happy with my debut. I'm always trying to get better every game. Guardiola asks me to keep the balance between defending and attacking and that's what I'm trying to do.

Tactically, there are a lot of differences. Ball possession is more important and I still have to learn a lot. But despite that, football is more fun when you have the ball."
