Last offensive for Cesc

Both main Catalan sports papers claim today that Barcelona has launched a last offensive to sign Arsenal midfielder and Spanish international Cesc Fàbregas (22).
Since Arsenal will play a Champions League qualifying game against Celtic Glasgow on Tuesday, it is generally believed that if Cesc takes part in that game, a transfer becomes imposible because that would mean that Cesc cannot play with another team in the Champions League this season.
Both Sport and El Mundo Deportivo report that Cesc wants to return to Barcelona, with the latter claiming that Cesc will personally try to convince Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger.
Cesc would have received a message of Barcelona manager Joseop Guardiola saying that the rumours about the coach not wanting Cesc in his team are false and explaining him his tactical plans about how to integrate the Catalan midifelder in the current team.
Cesc's agent Darren Dein would now be pressuring Arsenal to close a deal before Tuesday or to, at least, convince the club to leave Cesc out of the squad or on the bench for the first game in Glasgow, so there would be one more week for the transfer negotiations. Sport claims that Barcelona president Joan Laporta wants to bring Cesc home before the end of this term next year and is therefore willing to spend big.
