So Eto'o decided not to consult with Guardiola after all. And rejected the contract extension. It's probably the best solution for both parties. Eto'o's definitely been one of the best strikers in our history. Hopefully he'll have more success in the future, as long as it's not against us.

This was said last August after the 07/08 season: On the first point, Boix revealed that during last season FC Barcelona paid back 26 million euro, reducing the debt from 39.8 million to 13.6 million and that “the bank debt will be wiped clear on 30 October”.
