Catalan sports paper Sport claims that Barcelona manager Josep Guardiola has asked for Shakhtar Donetsk central defender and Ukrainian international Dmytro Chygrynskiy (22).

The Ukrainian defender's buyout clause is set at 20 million euros but Shakhtar are believed to be willing to lower their asking price to 15 million euros.

Barcelona would want to complete the signing before the end of the month when Shakhtar start their Champions League campaign for 2009/10.

Offload Cáceres on loan to a SPANISH team so he can get some more playtime and develop.

Bring Chygi then we have Henrique,MArquez,Puyol,Pique,Chygi
And milito recovering from injury and Muniesa at the Masia if wanted.
Abidal can also play as centre if needed.
