Four youth players will travel to US

Barcelona has officially announced that, besides twenty two first team players, four Barcelona youth players will travel to the United States for the training camp.

Belarusian international Alexander Hleb (28) as well as Uruguayan international Martín Cáceres (22) are not included in the list pending loan deals to other clubs.

The full list includes Valdés, Pinto, Jorquera, Puyol, Alves, Víctor Sánchez, Piqué, Márquez, Henrique, Abidal, Maxwell, Xavi, Touré, Keita, Busquets, Gudjohnsen, Iniesta, Henry, Pedro, Messi, Bojan, Ibrahimovic, Muniesa (17), Fontàs (19), Jonathan dos Santos (19), and Jeffren (21).

Gai is still young but I wish i could come..

COULD Ibra play in the US? or is he out for 4 weeks? like.. cant play for 4 weeks?

Gai isn't good enough. But neither is Victor Sanchez, nobody rates Sanchez except Pep.

to be honest...I don't think Jeffren is going to be great either. He has talent but not for a team like Barca. I don't think he will stay with Barca too long.

I'm from Sweden, so all I hear on the news all day is Zlatan, Zlatan, Zlatan. And from what I've heard is that he's out for a couple of weeks, but will hopefully play a bit in the Joan Gamper. So no US playtime for him.

I can imagine that Gai isn't following because we have better players at that position. (Henry, Bojan, Jeffrén). I don't think Muniesa would've come along if not Marquez was injured. But now, he's the only centerback substitute.
I think it's a bit strange that Rueda isn't following. But I guess we have too many at that position too (Touré, Busquets, Keita).
I agree about Thiago. Think Dos Santos would've had to stay home if Thiago was available.

Why isn't Thiago avalibale? As far as I know Spain where knocked out of the tournament a few days ago.

its suppose to be 5 gai is included in the squad> it says so on baracalona officail website so your info is partly wrong>i think that at the end of preseason muniesa will be in d official team because he seems to be working very very hard and plus he is the future el tiburon,the future tarzan and leader of the team
