He's good! Can play as AM (maybe his best position) and as a LW.

I like his style, but he's probably too expensive to buy him as a back-up. And, in my opinion, he's been injured too much the last few years.

As i said, i really lik him, but i don't know if he's up to the barca-level to 1) have a direct impact & 2) play a more important role in a few years time. And he is 23, not that he's too old, but
he is at an age where we should see how far he can get.

i think barca youth player is better than him except in experiences. dont waste too much money, for midfield, gai assulin, jonathan dos santos, etc.

I see Affelay as a attacking player who can play at the wing.

He is an ideal Dutch player taylor-made for Barça . Barça take forever to sign a player so I would NOT be surprised if he was snapped by another club,ie; Inter or Arsenal . Both clubs were seriously interested in signing him !!

i haven't seen him play. but for a midfield role he sounds ok. maybe we can place keirrison at psv a year so he can get used to european footbal. though the dutch league is maybe a bit weak..

i like his style a lot... i am also a moroccan born dutchmen... he's skillfull, fast, has good powerfull shots, but is very injury prone...

he would probably cost around 15-18 milion Euro... I think that Aisatti, his compatriot, who joined ajax last season is more fitting for the barca game... he has great one-touch football, technique, positioning and great overview...

Aissatti should really be an option fot next summer or the summer after that... maybe some of you guys remember his CL debut with PSV against AC Milan at the age of 17....

I yust thik you dont know anythig about football. You would buy anyone just who played befor on any lewel. Fortunately Iam a personal friend of Balazs Dzsudzsak the one who is in fact playing LW in PSV and in the Hungarian national. Affelay has a good comertial but nothig else. He needs 10-12 chances to score and anyway, If barca need a LW in that case Dzsudzsak is a better choice. Even if he himself knows that is not good enough for la liga. He mentioned ones he would be Madridista ones. In Barca sqwad are better then Affelay examle bojan... on LW. Affelay is 23 and will not be better.

omg i like this guy, not more than montolivo but yea he is awesome, we need that dutch flavor in our side again, dutch perform extremely well in barcelona while most of them flop in real madrid. afellay would be a nice signing i predict 15mil if a bid is offered.

I wouldn't mind seeing him in Barca.He is ready to take next step towards football stardom and Barca is the ideal place for this kind of attacking-oriented,skillful player...hope he's cheap,though
