screw bayern with their price and ribery.robinho is 10x better ,as long as his mind is straight from now on(i think he has learned that he doesnt have many years at top lvl to earn trophies),also the wc is coming next year so he would love to come.

the catch man city dont want money they want star players,eto dont want to go there cause he wants to play cl,the only way we can get him is by throwing henry in the deal,henry is 32 this year and isnt getting any younger but vilanova said they count on him for next season.if man city accepts hleb/guddy and money it would be awesome or else eto has to go to city to get him,still better option than ribery in my books

if Bayern doesn't want to sell Ribery who they bought for 25 million why would Man City sell Robinho who they bought for 43 million just a year ago? It was hard enough for them to get him in the first place, I don't think they'll be willing to let him go.

Man City will accept 40-45M, I think. They aren't interested in money, but Eto'o-Robinho swap will not be successful. Robinho is better than Ribery, that's a fact. I truly hope that Barca will get him this summer. He's just what Barca wants, a great left wing attacker. Bayern will ask more and more for Ribery, just because they realized that some crazy spender (aka Perez) will pay whatever they ask.
3 more realistic targets than Ribery:
-Robinho
-Babel
-Mata

Robinho would be GREAT signing. If he focuses on football, he is unstoppable. And still young. And proven by spanish league. And...probably also expensive for us:)

ya since silva is imposible and ribery only if bayer agree descent transfer fee which is difficult

so robinho at present is an option but its not as easy as it seems coz mancity wont sell a player coz its getting diff for them to get player even with huge money only option is swap with etoo

i rather feel zhirkov will be the best option he is good and versatile can cover 3 positions LW,LM,LB and those who feel him as overated havent seen him play so atlest just watch his superb compilation on you tube .... and i rather feel its too early for gai and thiago they will take atleast 2yrs to mature a accuire a spot in team and it will be coz till then they will be 19-20

Why would Man City accept 40-45m when Bayern won't accept 40-45m? As you said money doesn't even mean that much to them. They have even less incentive to sell than Bayern. Robinho is far less realistic than Ribery. -Bayern want to sell more than Man City. -Robinho has 4 years on his contract left and Ribery has 2. -Robinho's wages are much higher.

Sorry, I forgot to mention Zhirkov. I'd rather see him and Mata than Ribery or Robinho. Barca can have them both for amount of 40M.
Also, Zhirkov stated that he would prefer move to Barca, so Barca can use it as a bait to catch him.

when it comes to talent he is the best left winger available if you exclude messi and ronaldo,he is ages better than ribery and more team player and will fit better.

the thing is robinho was one of the most promising young players moved to real and thought that was it,then he thought man city would be the next chelsea and joined them .now i think he must have regrets and wants to play football for his remaining years at top lvl. when he was in real he was playing great,in city he isnt playing that well mainly because he is a team player.

i dont think he will cost us more than ribery,i am just glad we are linked with him.for this summer i want a top left winger and if and only if eto leaves a top striker. i dont care about other transfers mainly cause we have great youth(gai for the wing,muniesa for cb)ok we desperatly need a left back too but i think the felipe deal is almost closed ....

the ideal senario for me would be getting villa/silva (if eto out )
but i wouldnt mind if we got one of ribery/robinho instead or benzema/ibrahimovic/tevez for striker.those are the only great players out there,anything i hear on dzeko/zhirkov/van persie/mata/malouda seem like crap choices to me.

Yes Gai is super talented, and so is Thiago. But he is NOT as good as all this hype makes him out to be. His playing style is similar to Messi and I think that's why he garners so much attention. However he didn't even stand out on the wings for Barcelona Athletic this year. Pedro and Jeffren were much, much better than him on the B team this year. Not necessarily because they're going to be better players eventually, but because they're simply older, better at this point in their careers.

Priority : Ribéry !


2nd choice : Robinho for Eto'o swap + priority David Villa signing.

Robinho is good but not as good as Ribery.
Real madrid however look confident of signing Rbery :(

If Barca can't get a hold of Ribery, they should really consider Robinho. Thing is, you give Robinho a bad team and he'll give you his average performances probably during the whole season. Give him a great team and he'll provide great performances. He's not at his place at City, If he switches to Barca it would definatly compliment the Madrid Kaka/Ronaldo signing.

Robinho 100% against Ribery 100%, Robinho would provide much sparky performances. He's better than Ribery.

Barca will make their move soon, Eto'o now PROBABLY will be moving to Man.U ( Even though Man.C is after him ) And if that happens Barcelona will have no choice but to bring in others, imagine a Robinho/Ribery Saga to match the Ronaldo/Kaka Saga. Nice, right?=)

above football qualities whe should look at the human side of the player..

ribery will bring you pranks (can't wait to see him teaming up with piqué for those), robinho will probably give you parties and ego clashes..

It doesn't matter what a player does with his personal life, your assumptions are ridiculous. Robinho always works hard on the field, that's why Dunga always calls him back for international clashes.

You want Ribery for Offield purposes. We want Robinho for onfield performances.

i agree with mast..robinho = bad attitude, i'm not kidding he was invisible in all of city's away games this season, he is a good player but to say he is hard working is taking it too far. the ex real madrid thing was probably coz madrid would say he didn't make it with them and we buy their rejects, some rubbish like that.

on that point i think we really look at buyng snijder if perez continues his dutch witch hunt, a player kicked out of a new galacticos team would be well up for revenge.

I Would Love Robinho in Barcelona, I like Ribery Too, But Robinho has More experience in La Liga, Robinho will come to la Liga To Prove Himself that he is better than No Good C.Ronaldo, He's a Smart Agile player and I believe he Could play Barcelona Football.

better forget about players from the nederlands, as they, except a little minority, not very constant and have not the best winning-mentality. one reason why they never won any in international football. the minority are and were: van nistelrooy, bergkamp, davids and some of the 80-90's. we saw in the past how things gone with the oranjes. very talented and tactical high-educated, but without the necessary constant
