Inter Milan opens door for transfer Ibrahimovic

Asked about the future of Inter Milan forward and Swedish international Zlatan Ibrahimovic (28), Inter Milan sports director Ernesto Paolillo has said in an interview with Italian television channel Sky that the club is ready to listen to offers:

"I know that Ibra is under contract with Inter, that we're not the ones who should do crazy things to sign him. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is an asset, so if we would receive offers, which we didn't so far, then we will evaluate them in the light of the recent international transfers. But the player is ours and we are very happy with that...

Ibra can dream of going wherever he wants, but this shouldn't harm Inter. No player can think that a club will sell him for the only reason to do him a favour. The doors are open for Barcelona? The doors are open for all clubs. The market has just started... If he doesn't leave, we will have the pleasure of seeing Ibrahimovic another season with Inter. The same goes for Maicon. No player is not for sale but there's a right price for everything."

skanjos said...: a come and get call,the only chance we have to sign ibra is by giving eto to inter,if eto wants to go to another team then we cant get ibra cause they will want 50-70mil and barca wont give that kind of money for any player.as things go i wish eto accepts the inter change or else i think we are gonna end up with forlan and thats no good for me.

Mahi said...: I would say if Eto'o doesn't renew his contract then it is better to sell him. Ibra is good but he is too expensive. So I think Benzama will be the best option for us to replace Eto'o. He has skill, power, fast and younger too. If Eto'o plans to leave we should sign 1 back up striker also or we can play Henry to cover him as CF. We should sign a left winger also. I think Bojan is best for LW position and he can grow in that position.
@skanjos I also agree with you. if we don't get Benzema or Ribery (Ribery most probably we don't get) then we could try Tevez or Robinho and Aguero.; 13 June 2009 at 05:34

know they are not new , but they didnt have the chance to play last season .

caceres we paid so much give him the chance too , lets see if he is good and dont thow him from the first mistake to the bench.

In saying that, if Eto'o leaves (and who knows about Henry?) it does seem to leave the team unbalanced without a specialised striker.
