Deal on renewal Toure

Dimitri Seluk, the agent of Barcelona defensive midfielder and Ivorian international Yaya Touré (26), has told journalists after a meeting with Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristain this afternoon that a deal on a contract renewal has been reached.

Seluk, who travelled from Monaco to Barcelona earlier today, said that he will return later today to the Camp Nou offices together with Touré to sign the new contract.

Catalan sports paper Sport claims that, besides a considerable pay rise, the contract of the Ivorian will be extended for at least one more year. Catalan sports paper El Mundo Deportivo claims that the current duration, until 2011, will not change.

They have just announced that Keirrison is an almost done deal. They are saying the same from Brazil.

To Sashi from the earlier question
I do thing it could be henry but bojan could also do that position.I think villa will sign though barca wouldnt sell Eto with out buying someone new.I no puyol can cover alves but what happens when all the backs are injured are banned and plus puyol is one of the best options for cb so I think it is safe to get back up as alves is quite hot tempered.
I said filipe luis for Lb as he realy wants to sign for barca.sashi do you think this could happen?Its just my opinion.

hope keirrison will not bought as a changing object for villa, as i think he's a promising, talented player with a very well statistic.
if there's truth in it, 16 millions ain't much, for such a talent.
he could be a backup for etoo and believe he can become his successor.
villa seems to me too expensive for his age, as i was not much impressed by him at the confed cup.
showed in the past that he's a goalmachine, but to pay that much should be well thaught.
with keirrison, there still remains the option to buy a lw, who should, for me, have priority, cause you can't be sure about gai, who til' now played only 3rd league. and there are worlds between 3rd and 1st league.
would welcome the keirrison deal, as it could be a good one for the future with bojan also needing time to grow and players like henry, etoo getting older.
maybe a rumour, but worth to think about.

ohh Irish fan, u meant we have already got Filipe??? i honestly dono where we would get the cash to get the players u wished for. tat was wat i meant. and about Bojan n Henry rotating for CF, i dont see tat coming. may be some other striker n Bojan but def not Henry.

i said the players we were gona sell eto,guddy and hleb that would get us money for villa etc this is irish fan and lets say amen to them signings today
