Higher buyout clause for Messi

Spanish news site El Confidencial claims that Barcelona wants to raise the buyout clause of Barcelona right wing attacker and Argentinian international Lionel Messi (21).
With Madrid presidential elecions coming up and Manchester City willing to spend big in the summer, the Barcelona board wants to reach a deal on a new clause of 250 million euro°.
The new buyout clause, which is 100 million euro more than the current one, will be agreed upon in the coming days but wouldn't lead to other changes in the contract situation of the Argentinian. Both the duration of the contract until the summer of 2014 and the salary of the player would for now stay the same (read more here).
