British tabloid The Sun claims that Manchester City has made a bid of 26 million euro° for Barcelona defensive midfielder and Ivory Coast international Yaya Touré (25).
A Barcelona source is quoted as saying that the club isn't planning to let the Ivorian midfielder leave: "There is an offer for Yaya but the club will do what is necessary to convince the player to stay."
Manchester City would have offered Touré, who would be unsettled at Barcelona after the club had promised him last summer a new deal that in the end never materialised, to double his current 2,6 million euro year salary if he joins the English Premier League club.
