Pedro confirms renewal talks

Asked about the renewal of his contract that expires at the end of this season (read more here), Barcelona player Pedro (22) has confirmed in an interview with Catalan radio station COM Ràdio that talks are ongoing:

"My agent is talking with the club. I hope that everything will be solved soon because I'm very happy here and I would like to continue for many more years.

I hope to have more minutes this season. I know it will be difficult because there's a lot of competition, but I'm working, I'm calm and I hope to have more chances and grab them when I do. I need to keep on working to keep on getting better.

Guardiola has taught me a lot of things. Not only about the game, but also about how to position myself on the pitch. I have learned a lot from him. I appreciate him a lot, not only as a coach but also as a person. I think he's a brilliant coach - he has proven it - and I hope he will continue for many more years."

there is something i must tell you. even in times when you are right there will always be someone who disagrees with you for three reasons 1. the way you bring yourself about it 2. everyone hates you and 3. bias opinions. you cannot come on a barca site and blast the man who brought us the treble and not expect to be hassled and the way you also came about it didn't help you at all.. what made you think a video of hleb scoring a goal and saying pep isn't a good coach a good way to prove it. with that first post you put no.2 in motion which is everyone hates you which means any further comment will be nothing but nonsense in our eyes even if it makes sense, in your case there was no sense and then you only made things worst by firing back with insults against a whole blog... reallly smart huh?? and last number 3 bias opinions, there is always bias opinions... in every argument there will be bias opinions cause people hate to be wrong and people hate to see others they hate succeed C.Ronaldo is the biggest example. in some cases you are right pep is still rookie at changing games when things are tough and hardly make subs but ask yourself this, how many times have pep gotten himself in that situation? how many times have pep had games won by half time? how many titles have pep won? answer these questions and get back to us(the true barca fans); 18 August 2009 at 19:23

Marca4Barca , i didnt attack pep and even in a barca site you can say :
Pep is a great person , he is excelent motivator but have some qualitys missing that make him not a great coach.

the fact people start attacking me it speaks for there stupidity...

and because of English letters missing its only my Notebookkeyboard am working with (not this one in the work) is fucked so there is often some letters missing...

and M10 guy i am sure you son of whore because only son of whores attacks people in person.
