good news!
sure, Jeffren did pretty well, but I think he should leave on a loan since he will only sit on the bench should he be promoted. And we have Pedro who can cover both LW and RW.
As for Gai, well yesterday was really the first time I saw him play.
I've heard good things about him on this blogg and sure enough, he has very quick feet and he's a good dribbler. But he's more of a show than an actuall goalscorer.
He's clearly not ready for the first team

Guardiola is just putting more pressure on the board to get new transfers: he wants henrique out, he doesn't want any more youth players, how many guys will be there in the end if there aren't new transfers?

its true u cant just promote them then they sit on bench even if they r talented.... let them remain eith the athleti team call sme players when needed coz these players will develop with more playing time ans there is no need to rush they have time

and ya it will also means a note to trixi to look for the peices pep is looking to complt his squad

BTW sport claims that we have another opportunity to go in for Chyhrynskyi... God damn! Such a long saga for a DEFENDER!! We also need a mid fielder and a winger, I wonder if we are really gonna get them in the time remaining, looking at the pace of our progress!

Yeah i think this is what we did last year too no? Busquets came through mid season to the first team. Let them play regularly and if a situation comes up in the season they will get their chance as busquets did last season. Perhaps if the season is good they can be introduced towards the end of it as messi was.

Gai was great, much better than on the england tour. It will come dont worry. He was described as the "jewel in the crown of the yth system" and guardiola reportedly believes in him. I'm sure it wasnt because he is a show. They see something in him and honestly he reminded me of messi and giuly a little yesterday. Messi in terms of the dribbling and giuly in terms of his ability to find space behind the man city defence

He could be. Corcoles was in fifa 09. and since we only have about 21 first team players fifa may throw in a few youngsters like fontas muniesa jeffren gai thiago and dos santos

I would preferred to promote 1 or 2 players. They could train with the first team but play in Barca Athletic.

What is Txiki doing these days, damn it! I hope at least now he gets to have a look at the dude and make a move, if at all he knows Wenger does have a good taste and nice scouting at his disposal. I'm sure we could easily outbid Arsenal. It's Wenger we are talking about

Andressi: We will only try to bid for him after he has played a couple of seasons in Arsenal. Txiki doesn't have a clue really, he doesn't seem to know that there are players outside Liverpool and Arsenal and that there are players in France, Portugal, Netherlands, Germany etc etc that could be useful for us. All he is talking about is that it is "very difficult" to get any good players to join the Treble Champions who all the players in the world would be dying to play for. It is just pathetic.

seems as thoughpep disagrees with txikis fluke signings the henrique's & kerrison's, he doesnt want txiki selecting his players, which is something i dont udnerstand...now adays it seems as though supporting directors bring the player upon their own liking or agenda and ask the coach to do wonders with them...i mean yes txiki had a fluke signing such as YaYa Toure which turned out extra ordinary but i feel the coach should have the upper say on who comes and who goes out.

Wenger buys such a player for like 10-12 million now, even though he has a hell of a lot of wealth up front. He implements a very good rotation policy, grooms the guy into a very good player. Mean while Txiki sleeps, starts watching the guys videos on you tube after like 2 years and then buys him for like 25-30 million :(

he said they will begin the season with their teams, not that they wont be promoted, like he said at the start of the season, he will call them up when needed, better to have them playing regularly for barca atletic and juvinel A, than to set on the bench of the senior team.

Futbolmercado also claims that Fiorentina & Juventus are about to bid for César Azpilicueta... God I'm getting restless with all these transfer rumors and the FEELING that we are missing out on a very good promising players, that too who are very needed for us. César Azpilicueta could be very good replacement for VicSan, and also a player for future who's already a level above him...

César Azpilicueta is supposed to be in our short target-list for improving RB position. And he's a very good utility, has 2 years of top flight spanish football experience... Would be an excellent replacement of VicSan in my opinion. he could cover our mid-field as a back-up as well. He seemed to me the best option among the names listed to be in our radar
