At Barcelona's socio's assembly, Barcelona president Joan Laporta has asked an applause for former Barcelona player Samuel Eto'o, who left to Inter Milan this summer:
"We owe a public thank you to Eto'o. He had to leave due to a technical decision that has already been explained, but I think we owe him a public thank you.
He has defended the shirt of Barça until the last minute, he has been a great professional and a great goalscorer, who scored very important goals and has been desive. It is only right to thank Samuel for what he has done. Besides that, when leaving, he has been a worthy and elegant person. The culés will always remember him."
